RDi Retail Pro Integration Components

RDi “integration components” provide the foundation for most of our Retail Pro integration projects and enable us to provide quicker integration services at a more cost-effective rate. Our middleware includes both e-commerce and non-e-commerce integration components.

e-Commerce Integration Components:

• ECI+: A standalone application built to work with Retail Pro version 8.  ECI+ provides a base for embedding custom code that satisfies the custom e-commerce integration requirements that the ECI Merchandiser is unable to perform. RDi uses this module to communicate data between Retail Pro, shopping carts and other complimentary systems to add functionality (i.e. it communicates current and future availability by the store to the web, enhances processing of drop ship orders and much more).
• RProWeb Integrator: A RDi developed middleware product that prepares and moves catalog and shipment data residing in Retail Pro’s ECI Merchandiser module, to most shopping cart platforms. In addition, this product collects new orders and customers from the shopping cart and imports them into Retail Pro.  
• RPro4Web:  A standalone application built to work with Retail Pro version 8.  RPro4Web provides a base to perform automated custom e-commerce integrations to shopping carts that do not support an ECI Merchandiser style of integration. This module will move product data from Retail Pro to an e-commerce site and pull orders and customers back into Retail Pro for fulfillment. This product will support almost any integration style and a variety of custom requirements.
• RPro94Web:  A standalone application built to work with Retail Pro version 9.  RPro94Web provides a base to perform automated custom e-commerce integrations to shopping carts. This module moves catalog and product data as well as shipping confirmations from Retail Pro to an e-commerce site.  In addition, it imports orders and customers from the web into Retail Pro version 9. This product will support almost any integration style and a variety of custom requirements.
• RPro9Web Integrator:  Launching in 2011, RPro9Web Integrator is RDi’s flagship integration product for Retail Pro version 9. This middleware will support full catalog creation and management. Using his/her Retail Pro inventory, a retailer can build complete catalogs for one or multiple sites with speed and flexibility. The intuitive user interface coupled with easy to use filters vastly reduces the time it takes to prepare a catalog for sale on the web using traditional methods. The product will support all forms of order and customer import along with fulfillment notifications and tracking. Backed by 10 years of e-commerce integration experience and rich with features born from that experience, the RPro9Web Integrator will become the middleware standard for Retail Pro version 9 e-commerce integration.

Non-e-Commerce Integration Components

• RDi Import/Export Foundation:  A standalone application built to work with Retail Pro version 8, the RDi Import/Export Foundation provides a base to perform automated custom integrations to a wide variety of software systems and a wide scope of methodologies. RDi uses this base for all non-e-commerce integrations. Whether simply passing and interpreting files or writing to complex web services, this foundation allows the retailer to unite disparate software systems thereby smoothing operations and gaining efficiencies. This product will support almost any integration style and a variety of custom requirements.
